Can't hit the side of a barn to save our life tonight, and we're not going to win jacking up threes playing iso ball. Need a serious "come to Jesus" moment in the locker room. Ultimately, we've had a great run and coming in second isn't bad considering the field. If nothing else, we leave the tournament with a lot to work on, which is part of the point in playing such a strong OOC this season.

Memphis was totally not prepared mentally or physically for this game. What an absolute embarrassment.

Somehow it looks like Memphis is running the "offense" that Isaac Brown used at WSU.

I just turned it off.

We came out gassed with zero energy. Couldn't drop a shot to save our life in the first half. The second half was much improved and if we played both halves the same way, we would have won this. Sometimes a loss is exactly what a team needs. Losing to Penn did wonders for Villanova and the same can be said of the FAU game versus Bryant.

You just saw an example the diff between the 2 conf's.
A moral victory for Memphis to only lose by 16.
Good luck in the AAC. That will be a 2 team league with the Tigers as its flag-bearer.

Btw.....where was JQ today? Was really disappointed. He was not ready for prime time.

You probably can’t press like that the whole game, but we definitely wouldn’t have lost the first half by 28 if we would have pressed some. At any rate, the lack of defensive energy was a real problem to start the game. That can’t happen.

Take your clown show and go away. Nobody cares about your opinion here. This wasn't a moral victory, we got beat. To pretend that a loss is always negative is stupidity. We will learn from our mistakes and it will make us stronger for it. At least we didn't drop a game against lesser competition. What's your excuse for Villanova crapping the bed against Penn? It happens.
