Looks like we offered him as well. Then again, so did Wake, VT and BC.

Apparently he blew up this year, after his JMU commitment, so there was worry this was gonna happen either way.

I want JMU to carry on without skipping a beat. I also want us to catch and surpass them. 11-1 teams, nationally ranked, are great publicity for our conference.

For the CFP you need to singularly be the best of around 65 G5 teams, at a minimum of every 5 years.

Yeah, that's a bit delusional. But if our conference remains strong, Sun Belt teams are gonna qualify from time to time, likely as an #11 or #12 seed. This year, that would be against someone like Oregon. How awesome would that be?

Expectations of being in the playoff at least every five years just seems delusional. They’re only going to take one G5. They think they’ll be the best non P5 in the country that often? There’s 65 or more other teams wanting the same thing. I’d be happy if ODU made the playoff once or twice in the next 20 years.

Yeah, he's being a typically delusional JMU fan. We'll be lucky if Sun Belt is the qualifying conference that often. He just assumes JMU will always win the SBC.

Now some are saying they’ll be in the ACC IN 5 years. I think it could happen in 15 after all the current teams leave, but not in 5.
