That would be great and I couldn't agree more.

As a Notre Dame fan:
Keep Navy (for obvious reasons)
Bring back Michigan (annually)
Drop USC (Sorry, Trojans. Nothing personal. Just too many schools to play in a given season.)

How dare you say sayonara to my dad's alma mater. Do you realize how tense USC-Notre Dame games were when he played at USC?

Well, we can't drop Stanford, which is who I'd rather drop, due to the Cardinal joining the ACC next season. We have a scheduling agreement with the league, after all. Gotta make some sacrifices somewhere.
Fine, fine. I guess we'll have to drop Navy then. Way to twist my arm, dude. lol

Liberty: I was initially going to say keep Coastal & make them an annual rival again, & no one else is a rival, but those NMSU games are starting to get fun, so keep them, drop Coastal.
Due to this, I would say this:
UGA: drop Florida, keep Tech & Auburn.
Oregon: even UDub is a big rival, if I had to pick, punt the Huskies and keep the Beavers.
Troy: keep South Alabama, UAB who cares, add back Jax State!!
*Non-football*
Montevallo: keep West Alabama & UAH. Don't really want to punt AUM, but UWA & UAH go back a very long time with U of Nontevallo.

Alabama: Drop Auburn and keep Tennessee
Jax State: Would be great to revive Troy. Would trade Kennesaw for Chattanooga. Nothing personal, Kenny, I just like visiting Chattanooga.

Nebraska: Keep Iowa and Minnesota, drop Wisconsin. I hate how corporate Nebraska's trophies with Iowa and Wisconsin are. Two states with iconic ag histories in Nebraska and Wisconsin and the best they could come up with is "The Freedom Trophy?" They should play for a cowbell or a pitchfork or something.
Omaha: Keep Denver, lose North Dakota.

We don't have history with any of those teams; IU would probably be a far better fit. While we're both in Indiana, Purdue has a more Chicago-oriented culture than IU does. Plenty of Bears fans in Lafayette. In contrast, IU probably has more of a connection to the Indy-Cincy-Louisville triangle than Purdue. They're who you want.
My priority is that we schedule a different regional rival more frequently...

If the ACC falls apart, I think Louisville to the Big XII is a no brainer.
The problem is getting the Big XII to take Memphis over other ACC programs that will be looking for a home. Also, if the Big XII just keeps getting bigger and bigger does it eventually split into two leagues once the waters become less bloody.
