First off, Jose should have PH and put Dukes back in against the righty. Second, asking Duffield to bunt is beyond idiotic. Why are we bunting early in the game, with a 2-run lead, and a guy already on 2B with no outs? Insane. Jose has got to get off this bunting kick. NOW!

Line infield shot for second out. But throw to second to try to double up Royo goes into CF.
Royo takes third.

Why in the world is Johnson playing instead of Cummings? Yes, Cummings is slumping, but he's a proven D1 hitter. Johnson is anything but, and he's not an OFer.

2 hits in a row put Cajuns at first and second.
No outs…
Then … DP by Owls.
Cajun runner to third.
2 outs.
WP scores the runner from third.

Ground out to 2nd ends the B4.
3-1 Owls.
Just a bad inning for McCraccken? Or getting tired. Pitch count above 60.

He went 85 last Saturday, and was pitching his best ball when he was removed to start the 6th inning. Only one hard hit ball that inning. No reason he can't go at least one more inning and possibly two. We need to stretch our starters as our bullpen is just not reliable, especially with Hickson not available today.

Jose has got to get them to cut down on the strikeouts and simply put the ball in play.

Becker is without question the most improved player on this team. Quality AB after quality AB after quality AB. And he's doing it against both right-handed and left-handed pitching.

Wow… great throw out by Royo, deep behind 2nd base. Third out.
And …after a sharp down the line double in LF, McCracken settles down and retires the side.

I'd let him at least start the 6th inning. He is tiring a bit, but he's our best option right now. Would be nice if the bats would wake up and stop striking out.

Please don't ask Royo to bunt again. He looked inept at trying to do it last night. Plus, you have Duffield and Johnson following him. Royo is the best hitter of the 3, by far.
