Coach!! Thanks so much for this. I love that our own Oliver Purnell and also former Notre Dame coach Mike Brey are the ones who kinda egged Mike on to take the leap into college coaching. So cool.

I was encouraged that he felt good about his conversations with the recruits. It’s also telling that he said he texted Wood after the class was signed and told Wood he thought it was a great class.

I think he’s just saying the odds are against us, and they probably are. I think there is a decent shot at keeping Diggs though. He’s someone who is very familiar with Mike and vice versa.

In those days, I took went to all the games, including Williamsburg & Richmond. Hopefully, those days will return. I look for many new season ticket holders, next year. After the struggle for so many years, the future looks bright. Mike is too of a good of coach & recruiter. I’m sure he will not give scholarship’s, just to have 13 players.

Don't worry about it Mac. The kids themselves probably don't even know what they're going to do for sure yet.

I try not to read to much into introductory talk. Right now everything is unicorns and rainbows

I firmly believe MJ will be very successful but there will be speed bumps.

Probably. But these unicorns and rainbows are so much better than the pile of crap this season has been.

Jones mentioned he's close with Capel--wonder if we can bring Pitt down here for a game.

Gerry Faust was a legend when he was a high school football coach. Had Notre Dame fans slobbering all over themselves at his introductory press conference. Just saying.
