In the process, the ACC would cede Cal, Stanford and SMU to create a far west division of Arizona, Arizona St, BYU, Cal, Colorado, SMU, Stanford and Utah. In exchange, the Big 12 would move Cincinnati, UCF and West Virginia to an eastern division of BC, Cincinnati, Louisville, Pitt, Syracuse, UCF, USF and West Virginia.

That would leave an essentially ACC division of Duke, Georgia Tech, Miami, NC State, UNC, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. The fourth division would be comprised of Big 12 teams Baylor, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas St, Oklahoma St, TCU and Texas Tech.

Instead of a single Conference championship game, the eastern division and ACC division regular season champs would meet to determine which gets a CFP autobid, and the two western division champs do the same.

The four football divisions function as separate conferences for all other sports (with Notre Dame choosing whether to play Olympic sports in one of the eastern divisions or joining the Big East.

This new 32 team conference becomes a single collective bargaining unit once athletes are determined to be employees. Yormark and Phillips become Co-commissioners of this new conference.

This makes too much sense. Are you trying to be wise beyond your years?

I have too many years to get wise beyond. This year I hit the big 8-0.
