Why are there Bush protestors at Bush stops? ANSWER: Exercising their 1st amendment rights. You know that little thing, don't you?
Yep, but that is like me wearing my Mets hat into Yankee Stadium, if something happens, I have no one to blame but myself. (Let me just say that I did this when I was 15 and I will never do it again!)
I'm sorry, but I go by the philosophy, that the person responsible for the attack is the person that is doing the attacking, not the person that is being attacked.
I go by the philosphy that if you are a moron, you probably deserve to be attacked!
Constitution be DAMNED.

Are you in favor of attacking kids? How about the mentally challenged? How about those with different beliefs from yourself? Those whose beliefs you find moronic? What if I think you're a moron, can I attack you?

Please excuse yourself from any jury duty in a rape trial. You know, those girls deserve it because of how they are dressed.

Blah, that man looks like he knows what he's doing and I'm sure he gave the sign to his little girl. I doubt the 3 year old woke up and said, "Daddy, let's go to the Edwrards rally with our Bush sign!!" If she did, then please swap her for Bush on the ticket and I'd vote for her.

Blah???
None of what you just posted matters. Have you ever heard of keeping your hands to yourself? It is a concept that used to be taught in preschool.

That's a stretch. Comparing a felony with the destruction of a sign that cost the owner nothing?

Yes there's a difference TJ, this girl was obviously in a convention center of Republican supporters being given a speech by Bush, and she tried to disrupt it.
In the other scenario, you have a girl and her father on a tarmac, silently protesting; it's akin to standing outside of a shop downtown and holding a sign as the motorcade passes.

Here is a pic of the incident from the original post in the thread.
There has been some speculation that the man with the Marshall hat is actually the Bush supporters son. The Bush supporter was being interviewed on Glenn Beck's program just a few minutes ago. He stated that he was at two other Pro Kerry rallies where he was verbally and physically assaulted. My question for that man would be, if you know the type of behavior that goes on there, why would you bring your three year old daughter?

SO basically what you're saying is that the father should have just kept his opinions to himself. I agree with Lethemeul, Constitution be damned.

I think you are wrong. Unless you are talking about those that want to harm the USA, then you are correct.

Nope, but the father should have been smarter than to bring his 3 year old girl? I wouldn't bring my 3 year old girl to the Grove in Oxford waving around a Memphis or Mississippi State sign.
