I don't disagree with you at all. But, that is the first time in Pastner's 4 years here I have ever seen us do something like that at the end of a game in which we had a sizable lead. Barton should know better.

I don't think Pastner had anything to do with that shot.

I just want the USM fans to know that that was a great, great, great effort by your team. The best C-USA tournament game I have ever seen and that includes the 2005 title game (Louisville vs. Memphis; the game Darius Washington missed 2 of 3 from the line at the end). You should be nothing but proud of your team. And I know I sound like a Donnie Tyndall worshipper, but I can't say enough for the guy. He is a damn good coach.

I agree...just disappointed right now....was a very emotional game.

To JMS, I am betting Pastner is most likely giving him some lip right now...

Great game but was dumb move with the last shot. Barton has not played in months so guess he was trying to show something at the wrong time. It was not Pastner's fault players make dumb decisions.

Horrendous free throw shooting and we still had a shot to win it. But, Memphis ended it with a 16-3 run.

Pastner was walking to midcourt to shake hands with Tyndall before the shot ever went up. That was simply a poor decision by AB.

You know what I really like about all of this....no excuse from out posters!

The USM player took a three at the end as well with 1.3 seconds left. I don't like the fact Antonio took it but he has been out and probably wanted to throw one up. It's was a good game and we turned it on in Double OT. USM will be even better next season. USM has alot to look forward to going forward.

Anyone watching that game knows USM deserves to be in the NCAA field. That is NOT an NIT team.

Wow, how exciting was that!?!?! Great great game. 1st class game (till that 3 at the end). Super proud of my eagles. Memphis did what they do best the last 3 mins and we stopped making shots.

Congrats to the Memphos Tigers, great way to close out your CUSA life. Now make some noise in the NCAAs for CUSA one more time! Hope to see you on the court in Hburg again sometime soon!

About the only excuse we could make.. horrible FT shooting on our end. Other than that, that game was everything you wanted... great shots, great defense, overtime, fantastic coaching decisions, etc.

ummm, there are several posts trying to deflect blame for the shot.

They had to cut away from Tynall's post game...you could tell he was emotional, and he did come with the Eustachy comment...that we deserve to be in and could win a game or two....he acknowledged MEM as a final four team...as do I.
