Four Freelance Reporters Robbed At Gunpoint In Ferguson…
Did they really think these thugs would respect the media and not rob them????
Quote: The site of Michael Brown’s killing has become particularly dangerous for media members in the last 24 hours. A crew of four freelance journalists was robbed at gunpoint this evening around 8 p.m. as they tried to film a segment at the Canfield Drive memorial.
Emily Molli, a freelancer filing for Chinese network Xinhua News Agency, said she was standing behind the camera while her colleague Marcus DiPaola was filming. She said she saw a large group of young men wearing masks and carrying guns walk towards them.
“They got closer and then I heard them say, ‘Turn the camera off, turn the camera off,” Molli told Daily RFT. “They came sort of at us and tried to grab the camera.”
The crew packed up and began walking to their car, but Molli and DiPaola said the men followed them, yelling. The reporters managed to make it inside their Prius before the group caught up and began smashing the windows.
“One guy pulled [the car door] back open, got a gun out of his backpack and pointed it at my head. He tells me to get out of the car and give me the keys,” said Molli. “That’s what I did.”
“Fifteen to twenty males followed us with guns and hammers out,” confirmed DiPaola. “Every single one of them had masks on.” […]
DiPaola and Molli said a large video camera, their car keys and their wallets were taken.
He agrees with the forensic reports that Michael Brown DID NOT have his hands up. His rant was based on his opinion that he didn't believe Wilson should have shot an unarmed man from 30-35 feet away. His opinion was that as an officer he should have been able to handle the situation without firing a weapon. He gives not explanation as to what Officer Wilson could have done though but he thinks it was anger.
He gave a lot of opinion about something he has no experience in doing...being a police officer.
In what way is this not good? Officer Wilson said exactly what the Doc was saying in his interview with ABC. 35' = 10 yards. MB was running at towards Wilson. These shots entered from the front. However, MB kept coming towards the officer. After the shots to the chest, MB began to fall or dive towards Wilson. At that point MB was struck in the head. How is any of that bode bad for officer Wilson?
As to the idiotic remark regarding why did the officer chase the Perp that just assaulted him, ....it is the job of the police to pursue criminals and that is what he did.
RE: The Spin Room braces for the Grand Jury verdict.
A pathologist hired by CNN, a network who's been calling for Wilson's head, still is calling for Wilson's head, says what everyone had hoped was being said and that Wilson was the aggressor. Say it isn't so.
Case is over. All that's left is for the Fed and Civil Lawsuit.

He’ so gentle that he committed a strong-arm robbery just before he was killed.
Quote: GAYLE KING, CBS: You know, the officer has spoken now for the first time and he’s giving his version, and I’d like to know your reaction. He said your son threw the first punch, your son did not have his arms up. That your son was approaching him and that he was in fear of his life. Leslie, what do you say to what Officer Wilson is saying today?
LESLIE MCSPADDEN, MICHAEL BROWN’S MOTHER: I don’t believe a word of it. I knew my son far too well to, he would never do anything like that. He would never provoke anyone to do anything to him and he wouldn’t do anything to anybody. I don’t believe a word of it.
Honestly, I've found it more unusual for a mother, in particular, to condemn and blame their child than what this lady has said. Given the number of times I've seen a mother state that "my son was a good boy" as he's hauled away to begin a lengthy prison sentence, I'm guessing parents just have a hard time coming to grips with their child being a sh!thead criminal.
I agree with that. But, you'd think with all of the people around her, some of them would help her go through the evidence and understand what happened. I instead think those around her have pushed her so far out in front of things that she cannot go back. She is all-in on her son being an angel and the state and local government lying and hiding what happened. I don't think she will ever admit otherwise until the cameras go away and things die down.
It would not make a difference. Her son is dead. She may know very well he was a thug, but still, he was her son. Pure emotion will trump logic any day.

If the goal of these "protests" is to win the hearts and minds of most Americans, this is an epic fail. If the goal is to reinforce the belief that young, black men are a dangerous threat, they're doing well.

So people are marching in a bunch of cities....What's their message cuz they certainly could give a chit about a cop shooting a thief'n thug in a StLue suburb?

I think I agree with a lot of what Benjamin Watson (a black NFL player) says here, besides for a lot of the religious stuff at the end. It's a very eloquent reflection piece imo.
