With Netflix and Amazon, not sure why I still pay for satellite. We have not watched anything but those two things at home in months. Hardly any sports of late, even.

We just dumped our satellite. Haven't missed it a bit.

Netflix, Amazon Prime, and HBO Now is my full package. $25 for internet and $30 for streaming services...way less than the $160 I was paying with TWC.

What do you watch on Amazon Prime?

I watched The Man in the High Castle last year and I really liked it.

Just changed from Cincy Bell to time Warner. If you don't do any gaming you might try the lowest level for $15 per month. I do a lot of spreadsheets in multiple windows for business and have not seen any drop off. Worth a look.

Peaky Blinders has been on my list for probably a year now. Not sure why I have not started it yet.

I did the first two episodes this evening. Highly recommended. Its well done. They already have me hooked.

Peaky Blinders is well worth the watch. All 3 seasons have been fantastic so far.

finished watching no no: a dock-umentary. this was about dock ellis, the pirate pitcher famously known for throwing a no hitter while tripping balls. and, we of course learn that there was much more to him than that. he was a revolutionary figure in the baseball world. really shook things up. they likened him to ali

Stranger Things is definitely worth a night or two of binging. Reminds me a lot of the movie Super8 which I also really enjoyed.

Also, not available on Netflix, The Big Short. Very entertaining and educational but by the end you'll probably be fuming, I was anyways.

How big is the "sci-fi" element in that series? I had heard good things about it but I'm not really much for the out of this world stuff.

Not on Netflix either but I just finished two seasons of Kingdom. It's on the Audience Network on DirecTV, but I catch it on Kodi. Centers around an MMA gym, deals with the drugs, fights, girls...unfortunately it has a Jonas brother in it.

Ballers is back on HBO.
Also Survivors Remorse, sort of Ballers for basketball is on Starz.

There's definitely some SCI FI, but there characters are very entertaining. It's not too serious, it's more fun in a classic 80's movie kind of way.

RE: Netflix Suggestions
Just finished Glitch on Netflix. Really good, definitely recommend. The story line is very similar to some other shows that have come out recently, but the show does a good job remaining exciting and also actually revealing some info instead of keeping you in the dark constantly. Great ending to the first season also. It is Australian and the accents can be a bit thick at times, but not too bad.

Black Mirror season 3 was released today I believe. I am excited to watch those.

Also have to mention Westworld. It has been very good so far and the cast is great IMO. I always love Ed Harris, not sure why.

Weird, I started watching 3% today and it took me about 15 minutes to realize that the actors were speaking a different language and there was voice overs, no subtitles on mine. It annoyed me to the point that I couldn't watch, maybe I'll give it another shot.

Not Netflix, but is everyone watching Westworld? That's good stuff. Anything by the Nolan brothers is as close to a sure thing entertainmentwise as there is for me.

I'm also kind of looking forward to that Pope show that they are advertising.

I just wonder why mine had voice overs instead of subtitles.

Haven't started 3% yet but Incorporated on SyFy seems to follow a similar premise.
