Well yeah, people perceive slights and respond to them. Sometimes it's hard to let it go by. UAB posters are rightfully shoving a little crow into peoples mouths in this thread. They'll calm down eventually.

I disagree. They have been unbearable the last week. I along with most Tech fans totally supported #FreeUAB. A lot the crap that has gone on this board the last week really shows the character or lack there of for some of our posters here.

It may be in jest, and we may be sensitive, but we are not going to respond well. As I have already pointed out, UAB is in Battle mode and many will not see any humor in those jokes.

It is like making crass jokes about the deceased at a funeral. It won't be accepted well. La tech fans are catching our ire because they are the only fan base making those jokes.

What in the hell is going with this thread? UAB beat us in the tourney because we have a bunch of guards and small forwards running around and have to be able to hit outside shots to get W's. We shot 3-24 from 3 due to good defense and lousy shooting not the location or the refs.

Time to move on folks. I don't go to UAB's board or care what they are saying about us because it doesn't really matter anyway. I am sure most UAB fans would feel the same way about us.

We got a W already in the NIT and so did ODU so maybe that will help CUSA in the future. UAB had a major W for them and CUSA and has really big game coming up to tomorrow against UCLA in which I hope they roll. Let's discuss that and enjoy it if they get another W in the NCAA's it.
