I would say going 17-0 vs teams on the road but all ranked at 150+ is not as good as going 16-2 vs teams almost exclusively in the top 100.

You didn't say the team with the longest road winning streak, you said the best NCAA road team. You think the best NCAA road team doesn't have a win vs a top 75 team in almost two years?

I officially give up. Too much brain dead going on here.

Good decision

Oh not with you though. I like playing with the jellyfish.

Buffalo (RPI #28) not considered Tourney worthy by the media due to lack of Tier 1 (home/road) wins. Pretty hypocritical considering...

I don't think top 50 road wins mean as much as it used to. Tier 1 now is top 75 road wins. Folks need to stop focusing so much on top 50- that's a really meaningless grouping now quite frankly.

Cincy's problem is they scheduled/got scheduled 4 of the 30 worst teams in college basketball OOC. If those are just reasonable dreg games, Cincy's resume looks a whole hell of a lot different right now.

Remaining tier 1 road games-
Wichita 4
Cincy 2
(both do also have 81 SMU left)

Cincy 3-1 vs Tier 1. WSU 0fer

Cincy also 3-1 vs tiers 1-3.
WSU is 4-0 vs tiers 1-3.

WSU has a shot for at least 1-2 of their tier 2 wins to bump up to tier 1.

What’s that? RPI #76-250?

Perhaps teams that aren't providing the opportunity for "good road wins" shouldn't bemoan the number of "good road teams" another team plays. For someone that likes to play the "MVC is terrible card," you have a hard time recognizing that your team IS the MVC. Plucky decent team that superbowls when WSU comes to town and has your coach wonder aloud how many games you could win if you played like that all the time.

Small problem with your post. Northern Iowa, who is last place, has the 3rd best KP rating in the MVC.

And right now using RPI, you know, the metric they base the tiers on-
1 road tier 1 game
6 road tier 2 games (along with 1 home game)

WSU actually GAINED raw vote totals. They were jumped because Purdue is undefeated in the Big Ten and Duke is the media's play toy.

But here we go with the trolling again. Cincinnati played tonight and people comment on their game and yet somehow WSU is the focus of discussion.

Some people just simply don't learn.

Stating 100% factual information is now trolling? UConn is your best road win, something taken into account in bracketology the subject of this thread as opposed to today's games, which has its own thread.

This is NOT 100% factual information but good job, good effort.

Did you drop 2 spots in the poll? Did you win two games and still fall two spots? Yes and Yes.

The why is open for debate but non road tested teams usually have that held against them. You can put forth an alternate reasoning but his is factually based

Did you not see why I typed before that? They gained votes. GAINED votes. That means more people actually rated them higher this week than the week before. So nobody was "dropping" them for games they played 8 weeks ago. And you saying that something is open for debate proves my stance that nothing that was highlighted was 100% fact. Since you clearly don't understand how poll mechanics work, I feel I should probably bow out of the conversation as it appears to be an unfair fight.

Let's talk after the WSU game @Houston.

Cincy scoring 15 points in a half, I don't care where, makes me just a teeny bit less concerned about the Bearkitties.

Hmm, you have no chance at beating Cincinnati on the road so you're probably right at looking to the Houston game. Honestly though that's probably an L. I know they're collapsing but their schedule is so good maybe you can sneak a win against Temple and it'll be higher than UConn.

No chance? LOL. The best road team in the NCAA has no chance @ NKU. Right.

Your best win on the road is UConn who is no where near the top 50. Best road team in the NCAA bwahahahaha 03-lmfao

You got 4-6 away games at way better teams than Uconn. You probably lose 4, Cincy, Houston, SMU, Memphis

You see, most of my crew are trying to behave themselves having GREATLY dialed back their "contributions" towards various controversial subjects. You'll find no better example than myself. Our Shocker Crew could easily dispatch the likes of these rabble rousers returning the message board to equilibrium and peace in record time. But yet we can't...

Either silence the yappers or take the tape off. The status quo is untenable. P-Dum and TrollU4ever easily earned vacation time last night. P-Dum being banned twice already and picking back up like nothing happened is a direct slap in the face to GTS himself. Zero respect.

His best road team reference was to the fact that WSU currently has the longest road winning streak in the nation.

Settle down hater.

Tulsa is still a good road victory dumb ass lol it's a tier 2 win and is probably ranked in your to 10 road wins the last 3 years ??

Now, I've got no problem with posters like PlayDum or TrollU4ever constantly stalking Shocker posters in various threads, inciting them directly with mistruths, derailing the main topic, and otherwise just being a negative, unentertaining drag on the board; what I do have a problem with is a moderator announcing hellfire and brimstone to all those that do exactly what these two have been engaging in (relentless, focused trolling at a single person/fanbase) then nothing.

Notice how fierce a Chihuahua will act standing safely between the legs of its owner while a pack of pitbulls are chained securely to a stake on the other side of the yard.

*YAP!* *YAP!* *YAP!* *YAP!*

Meanwhile...

Another video illustration I've used in the past with great success:

Either silence the yappers or take the tape off. The status quo is untenable. P-Dum and TrollU4ever easily earned vacation time last night. P-Dum being banned twice already and picking back up like nothing happened is a direct slap in the face to GTS himself. Zero respect.

P.S. The leniency towards P-Dum likely created TrollU4ever. Children can sense authority lapses a mile away. One weak authority figure can turn a normally well-behaved classroom into pandemonium.

Not one thing I have said is not factual. Some WSU fans have a problem with people who don't agree with their opinions. The facts remain wsu lost two poll spots. There best road win is vs UConn. Tulsa is a good win, it's a tier 2 road win.

Now why did you drop 2 spots that's an opinion. You can say one reason and back it up one way, pay day can say something else and back that up another. That's an argument over opinion not facts.

But of course you know that you just like to cause trouble and egg on your fellow wsu trolls. This board was never like this before wsu joined this league. I have yet to see any other fanbase appeal to the mods here in posts like children telling on each other to a parent. While you are occasionally amusing it's easy to see why you have been banned from so many boards.

I will take the hit for the dumb ass comment. It was wrong. I was frustrated and lost my civility.

I stand by the rest. Facts aren't up for debate. But a reasonable opinion based on fact is, that's what we do on message boards.

There seems to be common denominators with the constant, insistent back-and-forth. I appreciate the moderation, the work they do, and the attempts at correcting the problem.

I have failed to see WSU fans follow around certain fanbases and constantly try to belittle them. WSU fans are guilty of passion and dialogue but not trolling other schools. People have given Cold crap but he constantly props up WSU in interesting ways but he certainly isn’t running around on every thread picking apart Cincinnati’s program at every turn.

You now exactly what you are doing. I could post 26 pages worth of factual information about Tulsa and literally **** my pants from laughing so hard but I don't do it. Do you now why? Because it would be akin to literary terrorism.

Just because you aren't that good at trolling doesn't mean you should be allowed to stalk Shocker fans in every thread they post in. I know our program enrages you; I know you lost your Superbowl Sunday game against us; I know we filled your gym to the rafters for the first time in a decade; but enough is enough. Contain your rage and post/troll in appropriate amounts. You are flooding the board with your insecurity and making everybody gag.

I make people gag too but they laugh a little at the same time. I'm also not omnipresent. Your current behavior is a detriment to the participation of this board.
