Vegas has been very good at predicting us this year. Honestly, a 12 point loss would be a lot better than the butt whoopins we've been getting. And at least it would be interesting in the 4th quarter. I thought the line would be more like 18 or 19. Looking forward to seeing how we stack up in these next two games especially. I want to see a bomb in either of the first two plays of our 1st possession. I don't care if the ball is thrown 10 yards over the receiver's head. I want to see their corners/safeties with their back to the QB early in the game and give them something to think about the rest of the game.

I'm a firm believer in calling plays that set up other plays that are somewhat opposite in nature. I keep thinking we are setting up a deep throw with all of the short patterns we run. But no.

And I would also like to see our DBs press up to the LOS once in a while.
We need to do this eventually. We might as well give it an honest try to get ready for conference play.

I saw some of their game last Saturday and also thought they were better than a 12 point favorite. So I'm liking those odds. Who is the designated game thread starter? It would be nice to talk about the game in its own thread.

I like your thinking on the deep ball. I like pressing up also but only in certain situations to change things up. I don't want Buffalo thinking the underneath stuff will always be there but I don't want them getting beat deep either.

Not sure how many passes Mack has attempted in the pocket vs on the run, but I'm not sure he has a long ball in him.

Not exactly.

Mack to Kuntz- 43 yards 11:49 of the first quarter
Mack to Paige - 26 yards 7:59 2Q
Mack to Jennings- 33 yards 1:53 2Q

There were also 2 deeper throws that were dropped.

Changing topic slightly, I'd love to see our safeties actually assisted the CBs on deep balls. Our CBs have been consistently crummy on deep throws and they've been all alone too. That is a terrible combination.

I kept saying we need to put a lid on this undisciplined crap and well guess what it came back to bite us and bite us hard. This one is hard to swallow after that heroic come back.

Luckily its not between every play but it does get annoying at times. If they are going to do something, just do the roar. It seemed to fit well when we had an uptempo offense and momentum going. Extremely short and sweet please.

At least we didn't play a rap song with curse words instead of the national anthem like I believe Michigan did :)

Maybe be careful showing the students when they are drunk as well. There was some booty shaking going on ..LOL

No dumb penalties, better decision making, and catch the darn ball. Fix those three things and I like our chances against UTEP.

I still think the clear bag policy is dumb. I don't know what it's even accomplishing, but I had to walk from the stadium back to the garage because my daughter's 12-year-old friend had a handbag with her that was not clear.

ONe of the improvements I really like is the mobile pickup of food. That is awesome.
