THEN WHY ARE YOU COMMENTING!!!! THAT IS THE ENTIRE DEBATE!!!
this whole debate was about smu not being top-level good,
ponystark/sad stated that mike would be that good and that mike would be a nba level talent potentially better than anyone on last years roster. they said he would be high on nba talent NOW... they emphasized how good smu would be with his added talent
- i then watched mike in all his preseason stuff and 1st few games, and i said he is overrated by smu fans ...he isnt game-changing for yall to be that good, but he can be a good role player
YOU ARE WORSE THAN I EVEN PROJECTED
If i said galen was the best player in the aac, because he is that game-changing of a player, 1st round nba talent , that we are going to win the aac uncontested
-- you say galen isnt that game-changing of a player to carry Houston like that.
if houston is horrible but galen is averaging 14pts a game vs good teams in losses, guess what i didnt prove Galen is game-changing (what you are trying to do), the whole debate was about good houston would be ..he'd be overrated/bust to the hype I put on him
stop changing the goal post.
---
also what does who is defending who when players are out have to do with anything ...nate hinton often guards 4s, he is a combo guard..but size wise you have to play smart match ups..size wise foster is smaller than mike
but an interesting defensive point was that mike was a playing a guard position in the zone you had when you started the gtown game
i was talking about the offense since you we were talking about offensive production, and what changed..and when i say "3" i mean the roles of a 3, basketball is positionless now a days .. but yes, he is more free to take up more guard roles, with foster in.....so you think it is pure coincidence he started to produce better just when foster came back?
but back to point stop changing the goal post..i never said he'd averge 2 pts a game...i said he is a nice role players but wont fit the hype smu put on him..role players can score 14 vs tcu in a loss, armoni was role player last year and had 25pt games...a game-changing player would have scored enough for yall to win vs usm
