No Devandra. Although that could be interesting. That could work really well on a Sea Change type folk song.

And did you hear because the new Beck album has a "design your own cover art" thing with stickers that are included (which actually is pretty cool), its inelegible for a Grammy because thats considered a "gimmick" and it isnt even allowed to chart in Europe?

Yeah, I think I read that in Blender. And for the record, Blender sucks. It used to be a good read for reviews.

Hmm, I havent picked up a Blender in a year or 2, but I used to really enjoy it. They covered a pretty wide range of music while still being fun to read. The only magazine I get now is The Fader (yea yea, hipster alert), but I dont even get it for the music stuff. The photography in it is amazing, and thats the main reason I subscribe.

I pick up No Depression every now and then to get my alt-country fix. I also get The Big Takeover if I see they have a new one. Its a good thing they only come out with it every few months, because it takes me about that long to get through it. That thing is huge The only thing I dont like about it is some of the stuff the cover is obscure to the enth degree, and I have a hard time believing even they know all the bands they're covering.

So, I just went to iTunes to sample the new Beck record and I see that they're selling the record as a "bonus video version." It includes 16 songs and 15 music videos (looks like no video for the last song) all for $11.99. That's a pretty sweet deal.

Just bought the Hidden Cameras "Awoo." Great album, simply great. Also bought Emily Haines album, "Knives don't have your back." Another great offering from Emily.

My car show tunes ended up being the following
DMX: Year od the Dog..Again
Ludacris: Release Therapy
TI : King
Now at the show I heard Lean wit it, Rock Wit it; that Youn Joc song... ummm Its Goin Down.... , and Lil John, Snap yo fingers from near about every car there...
From now on I can't stand that Lil Jon song.. I heard it ad nauseum.

Best song I've heard today: Accoustic version of Baba O'Reilly by Pete Townsend and the Flaming Lips. Pretty sweet.

Haha, a couple weeks ago I picked up
As far as what I'm listening to today, its been Beck: Sea Change all the way. Its just a Sea Change day..rainy, grey, cold. Fits the mood of that album sooo good. I think its my favorite Beck.
