it's not like NIU is the bottom feeder in the MAC, they are the only team getting that conference any attention lately

Uhm guys, NIU is better and more respected than Rutgers. Moreover, Marshall fans will go in insane numbers, Doc gets to recruit on a rival schools campus (slap in the face to that school) and the Florida players will play a bowl game in front of their families.

Btw, have all seen the weather down here? I'm currently wearing a tank and shorts. Check out the NCAA women's soccer championship at FAU Stadium on ESPNU now and see the weather for yourself.

Marshall will matchup with NIU much better than stAte this year. This is a rebuilding year with a new head coach for A-State, and NIU would have slaughtered us.

Herd fans may not like seeing another MAC team on their schedule (I understand the desire to want to test mettle against the P5, we all do).

But having said that, the MAC West was 16-3 against the MAC East this season. It might be the same conference, but it's a considerable step up in caliber.

I want Penn State or Rugters. Good job Mike.

Sorry watching Dolphins-Ravens. I will be heading to the pool afterwards. Btw, this is not one of NIU's better teams.

MAC champ vs. C-USA champ is very intriguing. It'll probably be the best non-premier bowl game.

I feel fine about it. Better than rutgers, IMO. One of the better bowls. This is as good as when we played BYU in '99 when we were undefeated.
