USF isn’t a top 25 team. And not a top 6 G5 team

Aztecs just Sparty’d Air Force (Michigan) at the end of the half.
Utah’s UU logo is iconic.
CBSSN playing the Cure for Friday night football is also iconic.

I think more of Tulsa showing what happens when coaches play not to lose, typically they will lose the game. Congrats to the Bulls for becoming Bowl Eligible.

100% the loss for Tulsa goes on the coaching staff. Two weeks in a row they've blow a fourth quarter lead. Thats not how you keep your job.

They'll have one more week to bask in the sun (they play UConn next week) before they get exposed in Houston by the fighting Ya Woo Coogs.

Tulsa seems to be one of those teams that knows how to lose. And they play up or down to the competition.

Tulsa needs something to get them over the hump. They played close games against Texas, Arkansas State, and now USF, yet have nothing to show for it but L's.

Getting dominated by a 1-4 Tulsa team, and Strong looks clueless. I am becoming convinced Strong was a bad hire, running on Taggart's fumes. Hope we can turn this around but looks bad right now.
USF losing makes my point that the AAC is weak. I knew uSF is gonna slip up somewhere, and tonight could be the night.

You struggled with Tulsa also until halfway through 4th quarter, and that was at home. Tulsa also lost to Texas by 1 score, and last I checked, Texas was ranked #9.
Is Texas a top 6 G5 team?

Ahh yes, the transitivity argument. This is the same argument that would say Holy Cross should be able to beat Oklahoma, since...
Holy Cross beat Yale, who beat Maine, who beat Villanova, who beat Temple, who beat Maryland, who beat Texas, who beat Oklahoma.

Don't let Houston fool you, they struggled mightily with Tulsa for 3 1/2 quarters. They were down by 9 in the 4th. Tulsa also nearly beat #9 Texas.
That said, we sucked big time, no argument there.

I think you guys are misinterpreting. At the time he posted, the game wasn't over and USF was indeed losing, so he was correct. That point is made clear by his last statement that "tonight could be the night" indicating he knew the game wasn't over when he posted.

Yeah I know Houston isn't a world-beater, but the sad thing is they probably are still likely to beat us. Heck they beat us last year when we were far better, and at home to boot (albeit with ungodly good luck at the end).
Bottom line, 6-0 is 6-0, and as it beats all the alternatives, I'll take it. But boy, we are about as unimpressive a 6-0 team as I've seen. I fear a trip to the woodshed when we play Cincy and UCF. We do have time to improve, though. Let's hope it happens.
BTW, I guess we are now bowl-eligible, yes?

Cincinnati had to come from behind to beat Ohio. They're decent, but I don't see a woodshed. That said, unless major improvements are made, I definitely see a 9-3 season from the current 6-0. But who knows, maybe the come from behind win snaps us out of the funk.

I know I'm supposed to care most about UCF, but truth is, I care alot about our game with Cincinnati. We've played the Bearcats 15 times, tied with UConn for the most times we've played anyone, and we've played them 15 straight years, which is true of nobody else. We've played them as members of three conferences - CUSA, the Big East, and the AAC. And they bedeviled us in the Big East.
Right now, Cincy holds an 8-7 series edge, I sure would like to tie that up this year.

I wouldn't say we aren't any good. We have a good enough offense to keep us in the game with anyone outside the top 15 but our defense is pretty porous. We're capable of beating anyone left on our schedule and losing to them as well. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if we limped into that game with a 4-3 record, but I still think we beat you guys. Lol

Look man I was just blowing some smoke. I was hoping that the Ya Woo Coogs line would give that away. Yall could've beat Tulsa by thirty tonight and I'd still say we're going to beat you guys. We struggled with Tulsa and frankly just aren't good on the defensive side of the ball but we've got enough fire power to put yall away (just my opinion). It'll all get settled on the field. Congrats on the comeback.
