If you can't beat a MAC team on the field, are you resorting to beating them in the stands?
Pot meet kettle.
Attention CUSA fans, meet the Central Michgan Chip fan. The fan of the team that hasn't beaten Marshall in football since we returned to the MAC. Laying the smack about not beating a team on the field.
To use your logic, if you can't beat our team on the field, become a fan of one who can.

Actually, his logic seems to be that he will stick by his team through thick or thin.

What makes the BG-Miam-OH MAC Championship more pitiful than any of the Marshall MAC Championship games is that both BG and Miami-OH were ranked! That's pitiful for 2 ranked teams playing in a big game -- that also happens to be a championship game -- to pull in less than 25k!!

I have seen the error of my ways.
Attendance at last year's MAC championship game was just stupendous by comparison. In fact, I can't believe the Thundering Herd settled for Conference USA when the SEC must be beating down their door.

No, ironically, Marshall accepted the CUSA for money and ATTENDANCE. These schools actually draw some fans. The don't have to sell tickets for cans of corn and they don't have to count the same gaggle of fans 4700 times to reach the 30,000 mark.
We draw more at a checker match then some of the MAC draw on a Saturday afternoon.
Begone you have nots. :chair: :own3d:

HS, the first potshot was fired by a Herd fan, and I didn't criticize the Herd in this thread other than to note that the past 3 MACC's (including one at Hton) had about the same attendance. By the way, FWIW, with 5 days notice on the location Miami sold 2500 tickets to the MACC.
