So Northwewtern (not ranked) upsets number 1 Purdue in OT. This is the second straight year they have beat Purdue . They only have one loss on the season … but yet not ranked ? Meanwhile JMU is in the top 25 ? These power conference teams are legit even when unranked.

JMU went on the road and beat Mich St in their lone opportunity. Northwestern gets a chance to play a big name school every week. Is that the same Purdue team that lost to Farleigh Dickinson in the tournament last year? I just don’t understand the argument.. you honestly don’t think JMU should be ranked? What the hell else can they do other than win all their games?

I think a couple,of things can be true:

1) If we were in JMU’s position, we’d all believe we should be ranked.
2) Michigan State is probably not as good as their preseason ranking.
3) JMU basketball benefited from the football publicity.
4) JMU is probably not a Top 25 team.
5) If we don’t like their ranking, we could have something to say about it a week from now.

Winning 1 game does not make you a top 25 team. We all understand why they are ranked.

Unfortunately for college hoops fans, we may not see if they are a legitimate T25 bc there non conference schedule is full of 300 level teams

Because we used to own them in every sport, every year and now they not only caught up, they blew past us. It’s hard to watch that while ODU just sits in neutral.

FAU plays in an 2,900 capacity arena, it's going to look full. They do have a great team.

FAu is really good but Im not sure that Charleston doesnt beat them last night if Burnham didnt pick up 4th foul with 15 mins left (and Smith got hurt immediately after)

I was starting to like Robert Jones again.

But- if you saw his comments, I think hes top hard headed. The Illinois State fans are completely in the wrong. That should not happen and the school should emphasize that. The opposing coach apparently did not know that the fans hurled racial slurs. Jones is mad that the opposing coach waited until the next day to call and apologize.
